Absolution.

Well, after a few years of struggling, I’ve solved the problem. I’ve been obsessed with politics since January 6th, 2021. Shortly after that, I fell down a social media rabbit hole.

I fell so far that it stifled my ability to write anything longer than a FB post. Although difficult, I’ve been managing to ignore most of the Washington drama and hid my social media icons on my phone (Except Slasher. Love those guys). Ironically, I’ve been writing daily for 3 whole weeks and even penned something that’s been referred to as my best work in 15 years.

My problem is that I was pouring a little something into everything rather than everything into something. I have also chosen to ignore the rather clique-ish side of the writing business and create for the sake of creating. Looking no further than the pen, so to speak.

We are poisoning ourselves minute to minute on handheld slave masters, ignoring the beauty of tangible experiences and face to face relationships. Wish me luck and, if you try this, I’ll do the same for you.

Create art, not content. Be yourself, not your online personality. Embrace those you love, not the lies of wealthy whip wielders.
