Random Madness 12.20.20

Random Madness! That’s basically what social media is, right? Just a bunch of random madness? One post at a time spread throughout the day? These are the top things I wanted to write on social media today. Everything. All at once. Does it sound insane? Why? Because it wasn’t broken up into single posts? The way I see it, there are too many feelings to step on if the public can see the posts as they scroll through their feed. Doing it this way, it’s your own fault if you get triggered by something I’ve written. You had to do a lot of damn clicking to get here. Maximum effort. This is my version of a cyber booby trap. Minus the boobies. Enjoy the show!

My son’s legal name is Anakin. He’s in the Army and stationed in Hawaii. Last night, he told me how much he hated sand from the beach. I’m still laughing.

My son went to CVS early this morning for essentials. The clerk thanked him for his service. The guy in line behind him called him a pussy. Stay classy, Dallas.

My son asked me to pick him up some Smirnoff Ice. Goddamn Army has gone to shit!

Shitty people talk smack on my wife because she’s younger than me and pretty damn intelligent. She’s the kind of person who gets cash back every time she goes to the store to hand out to homeless people. Every single time. This isn’t a brag. This is to make shitty people feel shittier.

I was a freelance journalist once. I had to sleep with my editor to get the job. I had to continue to sleep with my editor to keep the job. She wasn’t my type at all, but I was willing to do anything to make my dreams come true. Fuck dreams. Sometimes men are victims too.

I spent the majority of my day shopping, doing home improvement projects, and cooking. Few social media moments. FB and Twitter would die if people got off their asses more often. I’m sure I’ll more than make up for it tomorrow.
