Not a political post. Just facts and potential nightmares waiting to happen.
The rest of the world currently sees the United States as a threat. We’re all diseased, violent toward each other, and our leader is viewed as a total, out of control dunce. Don’t believe me? Turn off the American news networks and watch BBC or any other news feed from outside the U.S.
In the past, the world has called upon the United States to deal with, cleanse, and occupy countries viewed in this manner. Knock, knock. Who’s there? The rest of the world. Don’t be surprised if you look outside to see UN troops marching over your garden gnomes in the very near future. After all, WE taught the rest of the world how to be the school yard bully.
Next question. Do we, the people, fight with or against them? Who is ‘The Greater Good’ in this scenario? Decide now because there won’t be much time to do so when they get here. Unlike us, they aren’t narcissistic enough to bring CNN, MSNBC or Fox News with them when they storm the beaches on Long Island.
Next question? Why did we build our nation’s capitol so close to a coast? Sure, it’s kind of pretty, if you can afford to live there, and I’m sure they have great sunrise views, but isn’t that a tactical disadvantage? It should be somewhere in the middle of Iowa, shouldn’t it? Like, who would start a game of chess with their King right next to the opposing player’s Rook?
This is why I avoid politics. Fortunately/unfortunately, I’m just a writer enduring a quiet morning in my bedroom. Currently, I’m staring through my sun baked, upstairs window (my view is nothing compared to Donnie’s) wondering if I should move my garden gnomes…
Peace to the peaceful, truth to the masses, Hell to the tyrants.
